Diego Garcia doesn't like being called a pizza guy. But you can call him a pizza artist. Garcia, 22, a UTEP art student who likes to do surreal paintings and cartoonish murals, is now starring in national TV commercials for Domino's Pizza.

He's worked part time as a pizza maker and pizza deliverer at Domino's stores in El Paso for three years.

The commercials are touting Domino's handmade pan pizzas by featuring Garcia and two other Domino's workers in Santa Fe and Flower Mound, Texas. They talk about their passion for their art, and for making pizzas.

"It really bugs me that people think I'm just a pizza maker or just a pizza boy. I think of myself as a craftsman, and these are my tools," said Garcia, as he waved his hands, in the commercials showcasing his mural-painting talents.
